Our Story
In 2008, we arrived in Kavango with a simple belief: long-term development is built through hard work, commitment, and trust.
What began as a small venture gradually became a journey spanning eighteen years — growing together with the people and communities of Kavango West.
Over the years, we have witnessed remarkable changes across the region. New businesses emerged, infrastructure improved, communities expanded, and opportunities continued to grow. Throughout this journey, Five Season Group has been privileged to contribute, in its own way, to the development of the region we proudly call home.
Community Development – Supporting Education in Rural Kavango West
SUPPORTING EDUCATION, INVESTING IN THE FUTURE
In 2016, two local teachers visited our office with a heartfelt request.
They explained that a group of children in a remote community had no proper classrooms and were receiving lessons under the shade of trees. Many families lived far from public schools and lacked the resources to transport their children long distances each day. Despite these challenges, the children remained eager to learn.
Their story deeply touched us.
As a company that has been part of the Kavango West community for many years, we believed that education is one of the most meaningful investments that can be made in the future of a community. We therefore decided to support the initiative by funding and constructing two permanent classrooms, together with supporting facilities including toilets, an office, and a storage room.
What began as a simple request soon became a long-term commitment.
Since 2016, Five Season Group has continued to support the school by sponsoring daily meals for the learners, helping to ensure that children can focus on their education in a safe and supportive environment.
Today, the classrooms remain in use, providing hundreds of children with access to education that was previously unavailable to them. Seeing these learners study in proper classrooms instead of under trees remains one of the achievements of which we are most proud.
